Nota de Rodapata: o prémio foi entregue aos SUEDE pelo Bernard Sumner [vocalista/guitarrista dos New Order e guitarrista dos Joy Division] que está velho (e gordooo!!!) e, também, está surdo : "I thought I was presenting an award to SLADE!" (não deixes as drogas, não...!!!) Felizmente ele estava acompanhado pelo Mike Williams [editor da revista], mas o Brett Anderson, com 'savoir faire', deu um abraço e deu, também, uma 'bofetada diplomática' e deixou o Bernard Sumner 'ko'! * em 1994, os SUEDE ganharam o prémio de "Best Band" ** mas em 1992 ganharam os prémios de "New Band" e "Single of the Year" (com «The Drowners»).
